mANZANILLA

Manzanilla is a community of Curarén noted for its lively music, charismatic spirit, and excellent leadership.  Whenever a priest goes to this community for Mass, he is sure to find the band playing peppy music to get the people “warmed up” for Mass, as we see in the photo. 

            The Red Lantern Foundation bought the community Bibles for their faith formation ministry and some guitars for their musicians.  One of the main leaders of the community, Juan Vásquez, holds up a Bible and new guitar from Red Lantern.
