EL LIMÓN

El Limón is a very devout community of Reitoca, and the name of their church is Divina Misericordia (Divine Mercy).  At the end of 2021, the community came to the conclusion that their church was falling apart and needed to be replaced.  So, with assurance of support from the Red Lantern Foundation, the community completely tore down their church and is now building a new and slightly larger church.  When Fr. Bob went to celebrate Mass there on March 16, 2022, he discovered that the Mass, which also featured 8 baptisms, would be outdoors as the people didn’t have a church.  That was no problem for this spunky community, for the people know how to rejoice in the Lord in any conditions.
